NAMIBIA HOUSING ENTERPRISE (NHE) PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO BOTSWANA HOUSING CORPORATION

A high-level delegation from the Namibia Housing Enterprise (NHE), led by the CEO Mr. Gisbertus Mukulu, concluded a two-day benchmarking and courtesy visit to the Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC) on April 16th, 2025. 

The purpose was to learn about BHC's housing financing models, project management frameworks, construction methods, and end-user financing. The NHE delegation met with BHC's senior leadership, led by the DCEO Ms. Pascaline Sefhawe who was standing for the CEO shared the BHC Business model, products and services as well as the BHC Project Management Framework with the team. 

Discussions focused on best practices in housing, sustainable construction, and ensuring secure payments. The Namibian team toured ongoing BHC projects in Pilane and Block 7. The team commended the projects’ progress and expressed desire to adopt learned strategies in Namibia to enhance their housing delivery. The visit highlights growing regional collaboration in the housing sector.
